Every now and then, you stumble upon something so special that you can hardly believe it to be true. The Marshall Project band showcases a variety of enduring music and crowd-pleasing skills, blending innate and educated talents. Their playful, joyous styles mixed with professionalism and enthusiasm create extraordinary musicality. I've had the pleasure of witnessing The Marshall Project band's uniquely magical and creative achievements at each lucky show. I'm looking forward to the opportunity... and I wish you the pleasure of seeing them in person one day soon too!

The Marshall Project band is my new favorite band! Seriously!

The term "more than the sum of its parts" perfectly encapsulates the essence of the Marshall Project band, known as the Marshall House Project. This Santa Rosa trio possesses a kind of magical energy that’s hard to define. Guitarist/Vocalist Sam Hamby stands out as one of the most charismatic and talented frontmen we've had the pleasure of hosting. He leads this driving soul-funk-blues-rock outfit, with one foot firmly planted in the rich history of music and the other boldly traversing the future. Alongside his impressive guitar skills, Hamby's voice serves as an all-consuming instrument that instantly transforms any venue into a space of sonic healing and uplifting spirituality. His bandmates are right there with him, as they passionately deliver inspired originals and breathtaking covers.

We are fortunate to host world-class bands from all over the country on a weekly basis. Every once in a while, a band comes along that separates itself from the rest. The Marshall Project Band recently treated us to a performance that had the crowd hanging on every note. The band's precision was nothing short of impeccable as they navigated a captivating range of styles. Sound poured forth from their instruments with an organic feel, rich tonal depth, and undeniable originality. Guitarist/vocalist Sam Hamby is one of the most soulful singers we've ever witnessed, and his command of his instrument is nothing short of awe-inspiring. The Marshall Project Band possesses an 'x factor' which makes them one of the hottest up-and-coming bands in the country.

One thing that I really appreciate about Sam's guitar style in the Marshall Project Band is the way he stretches his notes and chords. Typically when I'm dancing, it feels like a different part of my body connects to a different instrument or sound. However, with the way Sam stretches and bends his notes, I find two, sometimes three parts of my body grooving with the tunes. So I am grateful for the way his music moves me.

Yall are funkier than 6 month old jello, just like the Marshall Project band. And that shit's FUNKY!
